Prior to your surgery we will speak with you and your insurance carrier regarding your coverage and inform you of your financial responsibility. Payment in full, approved payment arrangements or insurance assignment is required prior to surgery. As a service to patients, we will submit all insurance forms for patients with prior authorization. In order to process your claim, please bring a two sided copy of your insurance card and photo identification the day of surgery. For your convenience, the Center accepts cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Patients are charged a facility fee by Special Surgery of Houston which includes the cost of nursing personnel, medication, supplies and equipment. You will receive a separate bill from your surgeon and your anesthesiologist.
